This day-long conference explains the processes required to repurpose|create, protect, distribute, and monetize digital content.  Plan to leave with a strategy to provide enhanced services, expand marketing and increase revenue.

Content [n] Archived, current or future video or audio recordings [athletics, performances, displays, presentations, etc.] or documents [reports, publications, newspapers, art, photos, etc.] that you own and that the public wants access to.

Digital Content [n] Content that has been digitized [repurposed/created, encoded, protected, monetized, etc.] enabling it to be distributed to computer, TV and mobile screens.

Internet technology allows everyone to pull in the entertainment or information that they want, we no longer have to accept content that was pushed out for a mass audience.  From a college’s winning season, to a 1998 art show, to important documents, the Internet allows immediate access to niche content.  The shift in how the public accesses entertainment and information is a valuable opportunity for content owners [YOU] to generate revenue, provide better services to existing audiences, and reach new markets.  But you have to know how to speak digital.

[What does this mean?]

In simple terms, what you already own in your archives, or what is included in a current exhibition, or a future project can be made available on the Internet . . . but it has to be digitized, protected, stored, monetized and distributed.
